A holder of at least a Second Class (Upper Division) honours, Bachelor’s degree of TU-K; or equivalent from another university recognized by the Senate. A holder of a Second Class (Lower Division) honours Bachelor’s degree of TU-K, or equivalent from another university recognized by Senate with at least two (2) years of relevant experience.

Achievement – All the Programmes in Human Nutrition and Dietetics were accredited by Kenya Nutrition and Dietetics Institute.
Nutrition and Dietetics students have a wide range of carrier opportunities. The course prepares them for work in hospitals as clinical dieticians; in community settings where they can work with NGOs like Food and Agriculture organization of the United Nations (FAO), UNICEF, Concern Worldwide, Save the Children, AMREF, RED Cross among others; government ministries of agriculture and Health; Consultants; lecturers in TVET institutions; food industries as nutritionists, food service industry as food service nutritionists; research institutions like KEMRI
