The various departments under the school have highly skilled and qualified academic staff supporting teaching and research activities in various disciplines in health. The School has two (2) Professors (one full Professor, one Associate Professor) 3 Senior Lecturers and eleven (11) Lecturers with PhD. Thirty (30) have Masters’ Degrees.
All the Academic Programs in the School of Health have been developed by highly qualified academic staff in consultation with the relevant professional bodies i.e. the Pharmacy and Poisons Board (PPB), the Kenya Medical Laboratory Technicians and the Technologists Board (KMLTTB), The Kenya Nutrition and Dietetics Institute (KNDI) and the Public Health Officers and Technicians Council (PHOTC).
In line with the National priority and development goals, the T-UK endeavors to train highly qualified and competent professionals to support the very critical health care system. Our graduates are actively providing their services in various health-care sectors in Kenya and abroad. As a result, they are having a meaningful global impact in health-care provision and leadership.
The School of Health and Biomedical Sciences offers academic programs at all levels (Diploma, Degree and Post- graduate – M.Sc. and PhD).

- Increased registration of PhD students in the Department from 3 in 2019 – 20 to 6 in 2020 – 2021.
- The School has an MOU with the University of Glasgow in Scotland for members of staff and student exchange progr
